As Polynesians, we grew up with families that didn't really express themselves affectionately as other traditional families do. My parents, especially my father would have his own love language in telling me he loved me. It was pretty much my part in interpreting it as love or a learning experience. Why was it so hard for them to just say it, just do it, or show it??? Maybe they were too traditional in their upbringing that they really didn't learn it. As I grow up, I was somewhat like them in taking the time to open up or trust, because of fear of hurt. Now I surround myself with positive and loving people that has shown me how to love others unconditionally, as Our Savior has always taught us.
Educators, let us take the time to understand the love languages of our children and find it, then express it tremendously giving them worth and motivation to know and feel that they are why we are living in a wonderful world!

WEAVING TOGETHER OUR POLYNESIAN EDUCATORS... As Polynesians, we were raised with Honoring Our Father in Heaven, Families, and Culture. As Educators, we teach are students countless lessons for them to achieve success in becoming a "Life Long Learner." We weave together these Essentials of a Polynesian and Educator, and become Dynamic for Our Country, People, and Children.
